 INTEGRATION OF A PLETYSMOGRAPHIC SENSOR FOR PULSE MEASUREMENTS IN A ZIGBEE MEDICAL NETWORK,

EXISTING METHOD: The main aim of the project is to design “A CIRCUIT TO SEND THE DATA RECEIVED FROM PLETYSMOGRAPHIC SENSOR THROUGH A ZIGBEE NETWORK”. Generally we use ZigBee for transfusion monitoring. Real time control of several transfusion points was proved to be possible, with good noise resistance and low power use. But if we are using only ZigBee the received information is available only for the single person monitoring at the receiver section. PROPOSED METHOD: We can overcome the disadvantage of the existing method by improving the security level by implantation of Lab View that will solve this problem. ZigBee based wireless technology which consists of transmitter at the site location and receiver at control panel. Information received at the receiver will be updated on Lab View. So the people living at home/outside the patient room. People can watch the patient condition in GUI (Graphical User Interface) form. The system uses a compact circuitry built around LPC2148 (ARM7) microcontroller Programs are developed in Embedded C. Flash magic is used for loading programs into Microcontroller. SOFTWARE : Embedded ‘C’, Lab View. TOOLS : Keil uVision, Flash magic. TARGET DEVICE : LPC2148 (ARM7),zigbee. APPLICATIONS : Medical applications ADVANTAGES : Reduction in Manual power, improved security level, emergency conditions will be indicated within appropriate time. REFERENCE: 1.
